Repeat Prescriptions

We have a dedicated phone line for requesting repeat prescriptions (311 7166) and this is available Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:00. Your prescription will be available for collection at the surgery two working days later, or can be sent to your choice of local chemist for collection 3 working days later.

**PLEASE NOTE**  - CHANGE TO PRESCRIPTION LINE ORDERING TIMES FROM MONDAY 26TH MARCH 2018

From Monday 26th March 2018 the prescription line times are changing to 11am to 12pm Monday to Friday.

Prescription requests handed into the surgery or via ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE  for a new medication will be available for collection two working days later at the surgery or three working days at a local chemist.

If using a stamped addressed envelope, please allow five working days for the prescription to be returned.

Prescriptions can also be requested online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.

Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account when ordering.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Contraceptive Pill prescriptions

Patients on the contraceptive pill are required to attend annually to see a GP for review and blood pressure check. Contraceptive pills are not on repeat for this reason.
